The 2024 edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) will kick-off on Friday, March 22, with Chennai Super Kings taking lock horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season will begin on March 22 with defending champion Chennai Super Kings taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. A total of 10 teams will take part in the T20 extravaganza, which will be held in the home-and-away format.

What time do IPL 2024 matches start?

According to the first round of fixtures, IPL 2024 matches will start at 7:30 PM IST on regular. On double-header days, the first match of the day will start at 3:30 PM IST. 

The inaugural match between CSK and RCB will start at 8:00 PM IST.
